May 13, 2011 - Part 4: Ring ceremony, reception, and leaving

So this is my last post of our wedding pictures.  I've kind of taken a break for the last few weeks as I've had other things to post about.
All photos are ©Kelsey Hansen photography.

So in the LDS temple you don't exchange rings.  We had a small ceremony for our family before our reception where we exchanged rings.  Gary Hansen, who was the bishop for most of our time in the Single's Ward did the ceremony.

Angela and Melanie played our "walk up music" (catch the baseball term).  After the last couple of months I am so grateful we asked them to do this!!
We had delicious "Qdoba-style" burritos for dinner

My gorgeous eating attire
 Cutting the cake :)

First dance <3 by="" flatts="" is="" our="" p="" rascal="" song="" veryday="">

Then we danced with the kiddos, which was super fun :)

THEN there was the daddy-daughter dance.  Mine and my dad's song has always been "There Goes My Life" by Kenny Chesney.  It was a very emotional and special moment for both of us.

Then we had some more dancing, and while we were on the floor, someone very special showed up....

Me trying to figure out if I was seeing who I thought I was...
And then running when I figured out it was...
My best friend from high school, Morgan :)

Yup...red and puffy eyes from crying
While I was talking to Morgan, Neal was hanging out with his friend Greg, and his at the time girlfriend, Shelley.  They got married about a year ago and are now expecting their first kiddo :)

Then Neal and his mom danced

We were running short on time, so we decided to go ahead with the bouquet toss

 And then THIS happened....

I don't think words are needed.

Then I danced with Trent, who is my dad's best friend and has been like a second dad to me since my teenage years.

And last, but not least, our photographer, Kelsey Hansen, who is also one of our very good friends.  She helped SO much that day, including making sure we left the reception on time.

When we got outside, we found our car had been decorated, there was a root beer keg, and we got pelted with marshmallows!

It was the perfect closing to the perfect day :)
