Joey - 16 Months

I'm finally getting around to posting about Joey at 16 months old (now that he's almost 17 months old).  Unfortunately, because I wasn't feeling very well, we didn't really do much.  But the few things we did do are:

- I went up to Girl's Camp for a few days, so Joey spent time with Neal, Grandma and Grandpa Johnson, and our friend Sam.  He had a ton of fun with all of them.

- We spent a lot of time outside and at the park.

- My sister, her husband, and their kiddo came out to visit when my brother was ordained to be a priest.  Joey had fun playing with his cousin.

- Joey randomly got a super high fever.  He wasn't showing any other signs of sickness, but we ended up in the ER.  It was not the most enjoyable day.  Its the first real fever he's ever had.

- Marshmallow Wars did an event in Greeley, so Joey and I went to the park where they were and hung out.  Joey LOVED the drums that one of the neighboring booths had.  We had a hard time tearing him away from them.

- Joey learned what headphones are used for.  His favorite thing now is to plug headphones into my phone and listen to music.

- We went to the Weld County Fair.  We saw lots of chickens, goats, sheep, and cows.  The cows were Joey's favorite.  We ate lunch and then watched some tractor pulling.

That pretty much sums up our month!

(Sorry there are no pictures this month.  We are having issues with our computer and can't get the pictures to transfer.)
